Payment

I accept postal money orders, cashier’s checks, personal checks, and all major credit cards. Please note if paying by personal check, it will take an additional 7-14 days to ship your item as I must wait for the check to clear.

Sales Tax

Sales tax will be added to any order shipped to an address in New York State. Outside of NY other taxes may apply.

Shipping & Handling

There will be a charge for shipping and handling for each item you order. Orders are shipped and insured by UPS or USPS Priority Mail unless other arrangements are made. The utmost care will be given to ensure the safe arrival of your purchase.
Shipping and insurance costs are non-refundable.

Refunds

Inspect your package as soon as it arrives. If any damage has occurred, you must file a claim right away with the shipper (UPS, USPS, etc.).
If for any other reason you are dissatisfied with your purchase, you may return it undamaged within 7 days of receipt. Please inform me in advance if this is the case. The item to be returned must be packaged in its original shipping materials and fully insured for the price of purchase. You are responsible for the shipping and insurance charges for the returned item(s).

Special Orders

If you are interested in an item that has been sold, you may special order a similar piece. All of the items shown are made completely by hand. Therefore, each item will truly be one of a kind. Every effort will be made to recreate the piece you request, but there can never be an exact duplicate. Please note that time is a factor when dealing with clay. After a piece is made there is often a drying period of several days, followed by an initial firing (approx. 18 hours), and then the glaze firing (approx. 30 hours). Therefore, if an item will be a gift or is needed by a certain time, I will need plenty of notice. I also do custom orders for a 50% deposit (non-refundable). Please call (585)457-1379 or e-mail me at info@cathousepottery.com with any questions.

Liability

I make every effort to ensure the safety of my customers. I do not use lead in any of my glazes, but some of the surfaces are still not suitable for use with food or beverages. I accept no liability for inappropriate or unintended use of my work.

I will do my best to keep this web site updated; however each piece is subject to prior sale. Prices and availability are subject to change without notice
